Salon Service

Well this is going to be a different type of advice post. I by no means want to offend anyone, but just touch base on a subject that people Not in the beauty industry ask me. How do I get better service in a salon? Well, I have worked Everywhere in the beauty industry. Now I can say there are a few things that a client can do as far as salon etiquette goes to make sure he/she receives the Best salon service from their stylist. #1. Be on Time! I can't stress this enough. If you are late then that will throw off the stylist's Entire Schedule for the day. This holds especially true for busy stylists. It also shows respect. When clients are 15, 20, and even 30 minutes late, we feel like we are not valued, and that Our time is not a priority. #2 If you want a particular look, or if you are seeking a new stylist, have pictures in hand for your appointments. Stylists will be able to physically see what "type of highlights" you want, or "what color" your are looking to achieve. You get the picture. This will clear up any confusion that may arise during your consultation with your stylist. 80% of clients disliking their hair is due to miscommunication. Us as Stylist Want you to Love your hair! We want All The Time Scheduled to giveYou Exactly what You Want! After all, its Our work on Your head. You are our walking billboard/advertisement for us. We want you to look and feel your best. One more piece of advice...Keep an open-mind. I work best and do some of my best work on relaxed and open-minded clients. If you are good to us, we will surely return the favor to you. Most of us stylist want to build a lasting relationship with you!
